Our Diocese


The Diocese consists of the counties of Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire with the Unitary Authority of Peterborough.
It was separated from Northampton in 1976, St John the Baptist Church in Norwich becoming its cathedral.

The Bishop of East Anglia is The Rt Reverend Michael Evans
who was Ordained and Enthroned on St Joseph's Day, 19th March, 2003.

The Vicar General, who has responsibility in the absence of the Bishop, is
