The Friends of our Lady of Pity.
Meet at 4.30 pm on the first Tuesday of the month
- Lunch Club team
A group of volunteers arrange a meal for retired
people on the second Wednesday of each month:
and on the alternating lunch and
Tea. In July an outing is arranged.
- Journey in Faith
This is a group of people who journey in their
Faith to a deeper knowledge and practice of it.
Maybe they are non-Catholics thinking of becoming, or hoping
to become Catholic;
maybe they are friends of the latter who want to journey with them;
maybe they are non-Catholic spouses of a Catholic, wanting
to learn more about the Catholic church; or
are Catholics who have learnt nothing of their faith since RE classes at school, want to learn more about their Church and
its teachings.
It meets once a week in the evenings starting in mid-September and continuing until Pentecost.
New Catholics are generally received into the Church at Easter.
- 'The Gospel of Life'
The Parish as a whole, and many individuals, are ardent supporters of the Gospel of Life. for example the annual sale of White Flowers in aid of the Society for the Protection of Unborn Children (SPUC), or Life and other causes working to promote the Gospel of Life
Jesus came that all may have LIFE and have it in abundance.
We must do all we can to promote that gift
from conception to natural death.

The Parish Priest and Parish Representatives are on the council of the Ecumenical group Swaffham Churches Together, along with the Baptist Church, the Church of England and the Methodist Church. Various activities are arranged between the four communities each year. Parish representatives are:
